How does it work?
LED (light emitting diode) lights stimulate our cells to kick-start a number of processes with help rejuvenate the skin.
First, LED therapy stimulates cells called fibroblasts which produce collagen. It also slows down the production of enzymes which breakdown collagen and make older skin loose elasticity.
Finally, it speeds cell production, making skin regenerate faster with in turn creates fresher-looking complexions.
The LED's emit lightwaves of different lengths, the longest (830nm of near infrared) are red and used for anti-ageing treatments due to their cell regenerating properties. The blue are used to target breakouts and a combination of the two will target multiple skin conditions.
